STANDING STILL STILL STANDING

NEW BOOK coming soon

A black and white photo of a forest with trees, rocks, and foliage. Overlaid text reads, 'Standing Still Still Standing' and 'By Trigger Stacking'.

Photographer, Trigger Stacking, presents a photographic journey of hope.

Conducted over five years and capturing all four seasons, Stacking’s photos not only document his daily dog-walking route but are testament to the restorative power of nature and the outdoors within his life.

Here, Stacking’s photos are juxtaposed against the brutally honest writings from his journal (19 December 2020–18 December 2025). The journal documents his struggles with suicidal ideation and depression, and the impact that ADHD has had on his life. Its darkness stands in stark contrast to the light-filled tranquility of his photography.

Stacking credits photography’s necessity of standing still and being present in the moment – offering respite from a racing mind – with the reason that he is still standing with us today.
