Trigger Stacking was born in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, in 1982.

He has an undergraduate degree in Art History, a master’s in History of Photography, and PhD in Art History.

Following university, he returned to Harrogate, where he lives with his dog, Beanie.

In addition to photography, Trigger continues to pursue his academic interests in Art History and produces work as an illustrator and cartoonist.
